On the first Sunday of each month, museums in Milan offer free entry! Don’t miss the chance to visit one of the city’s most elegant exhibition spaces: the Gallerie d’Italia Milano, located right in the heart of Milan.
The collection brings together a rich selection of artworks ranging from the 19th to the 20th century, with a strong focus on Italian art. During your visit, you’ll encounter masterpieces by artists such as Antonio Canova, Francesco Hayez, and Umberto Boccioni, alongside important examples of Neoclassicism, Romanticism, and Futurism. The museum also hosts striking temporary exhibitions that expand the narrative toward modern and contemporary themes.
Moving through the refined rooms of the historic palace, you’ll experience a sequence of spaces that combine art, architecture, and atmosphere, offering a more intimate and immersive way to explore the works on display.
To guide you along the way, we’ve prepared a dedicated booklet featuring key artworks with short explanations—an additional tool to make the visit more engaging and accessible.

La prima domenica di ogni mese, i musei di Milano offrono l’ingresso gratuito. Non perdere l’occasione di visitare uno degli spazi espositivi più eleganti della città: le Gallerie d’Italia Milano, situate nel cuore di Milano.
La collezione riunisce una ricca selezione di opere che spaziano tra Ottocento e Novecento, con un forte focus sull’arte italiana. Durante la visita potrai ammirare capolavori di artisti come Antonio Canova, Francesco Hayez e Umberto Boccioni, insieme a importanti esempi di Neoclassicismo, Romanticismo e Futurismo.
Attraversando le raffinate sale dello storico palazzo, vivrai un percorso che intreccia arte, architettura e atmosfera, offrendo un’esperienza più intima e immersiva.
Per accompagnarti lungo il percorso, abbiamo preparato un booklet dedicato con una selezione delle opere principali e brevi spiegazioni, uno strumento aggiuntivo per rendere la visita più fluida e coinvolgente.
